Zhu-niverse Tour Hits The State Fair of West Virginia!

HOORAY! The Zhu-niverse Tour is going to the State Fair of West Virginia in Lewisburg, WV this weekend! Yipee!

(nibbling on carrot) The State Fair of West Virginia, eh? What’s so special about this fair?

Are you serious Num Nums? Out of all the hamsters, you should be most excited! It’s a fair completely devoted to agriculture!

Agri-what?

Agriculture; you know like farm goods.

You’re starting to grab my attention...Keep going.

Well the State Fair of West Virginia began all the way back in 1854 by the Greenbrier Agricultural Society so people could show off their best crops.

(still nibbling on carrot) Yawn…boring. Get to the good stuff Jilly!

Anyway, they still host this nine-day fair every year. People can go and watch entertainment, play on carnival rides, and enter super cool contests.

Okay, that sounds great and all, but why would I enjoy this so much?

Have you not been paying attention at all? I said they have super cool contests, and it’s a farming event. That means there are plenty of neat farming contests to enter your crops in- including fruits and veggies.

Come again. Did you say veggies? Including…you know what?

Yes, Num Nums even including …carrots.

CARROTS! Well, what are we waiting for! Let’s go now! I bet Squiggles is already there. I don’t want him eating MY carrots.

First off Num Nums, cool your jets. The Zhu-niverse Tour won’t be there until August 13^th-15^th – including Squiggles. So all you Zhu-natics out there should come on out this weekend and see your favorite hamster buddies!

Bah, I don’t think I can wait that long!

I’m totally serious Scoodles! Listen up, the Zhu-niverse Tour is stopping by the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, MD from August 7-8^th.

Hooray! That’s this weekend! I better start packing.

Hold your horses, Jilly! I still have more to share with our favorite Zhu-natics. Alright my hamster compadres, this is a pretty neat stop for our Zhu-niverse Tour. Did you know that the Maryland Zoo hosts more than 1,500 birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians? They also have cool exhibits in the Maryland Wilderness, like the Polar Bear Watch, the African Journey, and the Children’s Zoo. So grab your mom and dad and head out to the Maryland Zoo this weekend! Not only do they have some pretty awesome animals to see, but your favorite hamster friends will be there as well!! : )
